The EVC Story
The Educational Video Center began with a simple idea: put video cameras in the hands of teenagers and teach them to go out into the city and craft stories about the world as they see it – with all its problems and possibilities. While the technology has changed over the past three decades, we’ve stayed true to our core values and mission through our after-school and summer Youth Documentary Workshops; New Media Arts Program; Professional Development Programs; and Community Engagement and Dissemination Initiatives.
